    • Host registration/ inventory problem after update to RC-9

      Hi,
I have 2 fog servers on different locations.
After upgrading the servers from 1.3.0 rc-8 to rc-9 i noticed that there is a problem with new hosts registration.

The host gets registered and is shown in the hosts list but there is no inventory information other than the mac address of the host. No hostname (the mac is used), wrong (gibberish) default user, gibberish in other tag 1 & 2 instead of empty.

It happens on both servers, and with any pc i try.

I use the full inventory option from the ipxe boot menu to register the hosts, and all the pc info is shown correctly during registration on the hosts screen.

@Wayne-Workman said in Configuring UDPCast Failed on all 13 Nodes with RC6:

@Stilty Can you delete the git fogproject folder, and then re-clone please using this:
      git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/FOGProject/fogproject.git

I’m trying to install fog on centos 7 (updated), using the wiki guide (https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=CentOS_7) and I have the same problem.

I deleted the git fogproject folder, cloned again, reinstalled and i have the same problem again

      • Setting up UDPCast…OK
      • Configuring UDPCast…Failed!
