      Description

      So, I have recentl installed FOG I have a problem with restarts. Everytime I schedule a task that needs restarting, the fog client is unable to restart the PC. I ahev enabled the Reboot task and force reboot in global options. The log file on the client shows the following

    • Can only login to fog server using the 192.168.x.x everything else fails
      • FOG Version: 1.4.3
      • OS: Lubuntu 16.04

      I setup a fog server on a computer with dual network cards version 1.3 . I upgraded to ver 1.4.3
      *had issues with the fog password so dropped user fog from mysql and then created user fog again (database backup failed)
      But now the problem is that I can only login if i use
      hxxp://192.168.x.x/fog
      if I use
      hxxp://<server name>/fog
      I get “Invalid username or password error”

      Please help

      @Tom-Elliott Thanks for the reply. Its an kingston SSD 120 gb drive with windows 7 OS on it. I am a newbie to FOG. Which trunk Can I upgrade to? How do i get it. Do I need to reinstall fog?

    • Host registration stuck at Registering host

      Host registration stuck at Registering host. Initoially i thought because the disk was corrupted causing it, However did not find that to be true. So apparently I am missing something here. Could som one please help
      OS: Lubuntu 14.04
      Fog: 1.2.0
      I get the boot up menu but
      Then it shoes disk…/dev/sda
      Starting Host registration and it just jangs thre, I did see a similar thread wih simalar behaviour in imaging but I am just trying to register the host.

      It just sits there doing nothing
      This is what I am getting on the client side. Any way to get it to start the host registration? I did verify that the host registration is enabled on the server side under fog settings Thanks for your time and helping me out

      After commenting out the 684th line as stated above I get the GUI but then it gets stuck on host registration. Any ideas how to fix that?

      I am trying to set up fog in isolation mode
      fog 1.2.0
      lubuntu 14.04
      The client is able to see the fog DHCP server but after the message
      http://192.168.1.1/fog/service/ipxe/boot.php...ok
      http://192.168.1.1/fog/service/ipxe/bg.png...ok
      it starts to the windows boot menu. What am i doing wrong
      my config steps
      Install fog
      set sql password
      ensure that the config file has proper pass for the tftp server
      but still no boot menu on the client. Please help
