RE: Backgroundchange dont work -> black
yes i am sure, i removed the fogproject logo and pasted my own logo into the original bg.png image, after that i saved the edited bg.png as bg2.png with photoshop and moved it on the ubuntu server (/var/www/fog/service/ipxe)… can anyone send me an custom background .png that i can test it?
i installed fog 1.5.9 with the kernel 5.10.71 (62 bit) on an raspberry pi (ubuntu server 21.10) and the capture and deployment works fine … i know that ubuntu 20.04 LTS is recommended, but the USB/SSD boot doesnt work with the Pi for me and i dont want to use a SD card. In ubuntu server 21.10 i had to change something in ~/fogproject-master/lib/ubuntu/config.sh -> “php-gettext” to “php-php-gettext” -> is maybe that the reason?
Backgroundchange dont work -> black
i created an background with the exact same size like the original (i opened the original in photoshop and deleted everything to create a new one) but it dont work
original bg.png = 21,7 KB
my bg.png = 19 KB
the normal bg.png works fine, but if i usemy special bg its only black
have anyone an idea how i can test it?

RE: PXE Boot - NBP file downloaded successfullly
@george1421 i tried to boot with disabled secure boot but it still dont work
I have to enter an tftp server, but the ip address of the fogserver dont work
The client and the fogserver are in the same subnet.
I tried it with different pcs and with one VM and everywhere the same message.
I checked with systemctl status isc-dhcp-server.service the status of the dhcp on the fogserver and there is no secound dhcp running - the only dhcp in my network is an windows server with the correct 66 and 67 informatiions
PXE Boot - NBP file downloaded successfullly
i have a problem with the pxe boot.
I installed the FOG Server 1.5.9 on an ubuntu desktop 20.04 LTS. The Ubuntu desktop is an hyper-v VM.
The Fogserver installation is completed and fog management gui is working.
i tried different dhcp settings, but i think this settings are the right one:
66 = [ip of the fogserver]
67 = ipxe.efi
i choosed ipxe.efi, because my clients run with UEFI and not with BIOS - is that correct or can i try other boot files?
i recorded an video what happens, when i try to start an pxe boot with one of my clients
what does it mean, i hope you can help me
where is my mistake
