• RE: HP Stream 11 Pro

I will try this first thing in the morning. A couple of questions: Is there a USB to Ethernet that you would recommend for this HP Stream 11 pro?

This USB to Ethernet was recommended by HP. I will contact them again to see if they have another USB to ethernet that may work better. Can you tell me what specifications are required for iPXE to work 100%.

If I use undionly.kkpxe it locks up here: “/bzImage… Ok — /init.xz… OK”
If I use undionly.kpxe it locks up here: “iPXE initialising devices…”

I get this after I select: “Quick Registration and Inventory” from the FOG menu. I checked /var/log/apache2 but there are no errors about this…

Were you able to upload an image with this model? We received one and we are experiencing the same results with FOG 1.2.0. I also tried the latest SVN today with the latest stable kernel and Tom’s kernel. I am using ubuntu 14. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

• RE: IPXE Boot Issue with Realtek RTL8153

I uploaded and downloaded images to several models with no problems. This is using the latest install (1.2.0) and upgrading to SVN 2414. I have a Lenovo Yoga with no ethernet port. Following the instructions above I get a black screen with a flashing cursor right after it asks me to unplug the USB adapter and stays like that permanently

So I downgraded to SVN 2306 and imaging went much further with Capone but I get a black screen with the flashing cursor right after it checks the HDD.
I can no longer manually register a host with this SVN.

Sorry— I left work so I don’t have any log files to provide. I will probably reinstall FOG and go straight to 2306 and test it again.

Any suggestions…

I installed the latest kernel from the FOG Management site.
This is on Ubuntu 12.04

Thank you for that information. I now know how to retrograde. I am still having issues with the Lenovo Yoga tablets that don’t have ethernet ports. I will follow up on this thread: http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/ipxe-boot-issue-with-realtek-rtl8153.10507/#post-36781

• SVN

I installed SVN 2414. Is there a way to install a different version. When I go here:

https://svn.code.sf.net/p/freeghost/code/trunk

It gives me the latest one.
