If you mean you’ve syspreped three times and cannot anymore, you need to add SkipRearm=1 to your answer file for any images you create in the future

I could have misunderstood though
I’ve tried that…
No matter what I did I got the “Fatal Error” error…
if you have not booted up the computer into windows since syspreping it. just schedule an upload of a resizable image type, and upload it. also, if you have any drive large enough to download the image to that you already have, you could download it to that drive, and re-upload the same data as a resizable image.
Will try to upload it as a resizeable image, thanks 🙂
if your image is of a windows computer, you can just re-upload as a resizable image, and then it should be usable. unless, of course, you actually have more then 80GB of data on that image, which is doubtful since it only takes up 11.4GB on server.
Yes I know thank you… I have syspreped the image and can’t sysprep again so probably I need to re-create the image… 😞
Thank you anyway

• Can't download image to client

Hi everyone,

I have a working fog server (1.0.0)on ubuntu 14.04.
I can successfully upload and download images…
I recently came across a strange problem:
When trying to download an image to a client (after performing full registration) it seems like it passed all the tests and then restarts without even starting to download.
When choosing “quick image” or creating a task from the web interface it does the same…

The image size on client is 494 GB, the image size on the server is 11.4 GB, the client I am trying to deploy has a 80 GB HD.
The problem is the HD size (too small) or could it be something else?

thanks,

• Defualt.ipxe - connection timed out (ipxe error 4c126035)

Hi everyone,

I run FOG 1.1.0 on Ubuntu 14.04.
(FOG isn’t configured as DHCP or DNS).

I am successfully Uploading/downloading images, except when it comes to DELL 760.
When I start the network boot it loads the ipxe devices and everything, but when it tries to load “Default.ipxe” it gives an error- “Connection Timed out” and the ipxe error code 4c126035.

Tried to create a symbolic link from /var/lib/tftpboot/ (( ln -s /tftpboot/default.ipxe default.ipxe)). Still no luck.

the TFTP_DIRECTORY in the tftpd-hpa file is configured to /tftpboot…

Does anyone have an idea??

thanks,

• RE: After PXE FOG menu screen appears and then restarts

Hi,

When I changed the file to indionly.kkpxe it won’t start- doesn’t even get to the FOG menu…
I solved this problem by changing the FOG_PXE_MENU_TIMEOUT value in the fog configuration menu-> FOG boot settings…

Thanks for all the help
uh look in the /tftpboot folder…

Just change your Option 67 to undionly.kkpxe (or ipxe.kpxe, ipxe.kkpxe, etc.)
I will try this and post the results…
thanks
THe best thing is to narrow possibilities. You should try, if possible, in a similar PC with idential (equal) hardware and see if that also happens.
If it happens in severall machines, then it might be something related wit the kpxe file not fully supporting your system.
For example, in my case, had to use undionly.kkpxe in place of undionly.kpxe. Do you know how to change this files in /tftpboot/ ?
Hi,
Yes I think I know how to change the files in the /tftp folder but where can I get the undionly.kkpxe from?

thanks
