    • Images not moved from /images/dev to /images/image_name

      I had the same issue creep in on a system that had been running fine for years. Ubuntu 14.04.3. My images directory (and all others) are owned by root:root, but have 777 as permissions, and fog could put ftp files to the directory and delete them w/out issue. However, I noticed that there was an extra line in /etc/vsftp.conf on the wiki pages than I had in my /etc/vsftp.conf.

      seccomp_sandbox=NO

      I added that line, and since I wasn’t sure how to restart the service, I just rebooted the machine. Success! I hope this helps someone else with the issue. I’m not sure how the change happened, but I bet it had to with ubuntu updates at some point. My first failed upload was in Oct, and I only now was able to circle back and address it.

    • RE: dnsmasq breaks apt-get

      Commenting out port=0 in /etc/dnsmasq.d/ltsp.conf worked for me when I had this issue. Yay!

    • RE: Cannot access fog/management

      I had the same issue. For me, the problem was solved by manually creating the fog database and the fog user, and then rerunning the installer. We have a few fog servers and have always used the same mysql password, which is not blank. I don’t know if that’s what caused the failure of the db creation, but I figured I’d mention it, since the default suggestion on the installer is to use a blank password. Also, we are trying to use https, so I ran the installer with the “-S” option.

      I hope this solves your issue - though given the recommendation from the developers to use trunk, it’s probably best to do that.
