    • RE: Is there a way to make FOG compatible with LUKS encryption?

@luistemporal @Sebastian-Roth @george1421 I solved this error by re-capturing the image and re-deploying with “Single Disk”. The disk decrypts correctly on the cloned machine. The problem I have now is that the original machine is 34 GB and the cloned machine is 54 GB and there is unallocated disk space left. How could I extend the encrypted partition to fill the entire disk?

    • RE: Is there a way to make FOG compatible with LUKS encryption?

@luistemporal @Sebastian-Roth @george1421 I have renamed the init and kernel of my FOG server to .backup and added the new files, restarted the Apache service and changed the image type from “Raw Image” to “Single Disk”, and when I try to deploy the image on a new machine, I get the following error:

      error.png

These are the commands I have executed on the FOG server:

        114 locate init.xz
        115 locate bzImage
        116 sudo mv /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe/init.xz /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe/init.xz.backup
        117 sudo mv /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe/bzImage /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe/bzImage.backup
        118 sudo mv /home/administrator/bzImage-luks /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe/bzImage
        119 sudo mv /home/administrator/init-luks.xz /var/www/html/fog/service/ipxe/init.xz
        120 sudo systemctl restart apache2.service
        121 sudo systemctl status apache2.service
        122 sudo chown -R fogproject:root /images/*
        123 sudo chmod a+rwx /images/*
        124 sudo systemctl restart apache2.service

@sebastian-roth @george1421 Thanks for the feedback, I will try to test the init and kernel you have provided and as soon as I do some tests I will let you know. Thanks

    • Is there a way to make FOG compatible with LUKS encryption?

I want to manage my company’s computers with FOG and they all use LUKS encryption, If I clone a previously encrypted computer it tells me that the UID of the disk does not match, and if I clone a non-encrypted computer, to encrypt it, it is necessary to format it, so cloning would not make sense if the data is going to be lost. Thanks for any help you can offer me.

    • Hardware compatibility issue

      Hello everybody.
I want to install the FOG Project in my company, but I have the doubt that if the computers to be cloned have different hardware (CPU, RAM, Hard Disk, drivers…) it may cause failures.
      Thanks.
