I managed to restore an image of a fog 1.2 from a 1.35 fog.
I renamed the sys.img.000 file to d1p1.img and changed the partition field to Partition 1 only (3)
All you have to do is upload the desired image and you’re done

RE: No source file passed (writeImage)
The format of the images should not be the same. Indeed I have the following error:
cannot open file ‘/images/… /d1.patitions’ for reading (no such file or directory)
My files’ calls d1.original.partitions like alserran.
Is there a way to adapt our image? -
RE: No source file passed (writeImage)
Hi,
I have the same problem.
I completely reinstalled the fog server with version 1.35 and I copied the files from my old server in 1.2 to the new one, taking care to put the same parameters -
RE: Problem storage node over 10 task
I found nothing abnormal in the interfaces. Not knowing what to do, I completely reinstalled my virtual server, which restored the functioning of fog. Thank you for your answers

RE: Problem storage node over 10 task
@Wayne-Workman
When I said in the same configuration before, I meant that until now I had never slowed down with my FOG server.
I think it’s since RC19 or RC20 that I meet my problems.
What is strange is that when I restore a computer room with 30 pc for example, I do not have an error message at the beginning, then gradually I have more and more message until the Link between the waiting machines and the server does not do any more at all (the client machine does not know on what queue it is and does not find the storage node).
I will try to switch to RC26 during the day
I am sorry for my English, I hope to have made me understand -

I delete the entry purpose the problem was always the same. I supose it was a problem of the RC9. With the RC11 when complete inventory, if I validates restore immediately, no task is created. Yet if back in the fog menu once the item is inventoried, I created the task from the pxe menu.

RE: Fog Full registration Don't Work
Hi,
I just make account that I was not RC11 but RC9.
I updated my server RC11 and I do not have this problem.
By cons, when I do the inventory of a new post I have the following error message already register at “pcname”. Also if I ask what the position is deploy, fog does not create task.
Thanks -
Fog Full registration Don't Work
Server
- FOG Version: 1.3 RC11
- OS: Ubuntu 14
Description
Hi,
I encounter a problem when I inventory a new computer Fog 1.3 RC11.
Indeed, when I get all the information (Hostname, Image …) in the Full Registration menu on PXE there is no problem. When I look in the web interface, only the mac address is entered and hostmane is the mac address, as an automatic inventory.
Do you have a solution for me?
Thanks -

RE: WOL issue fog 1.2.0
@Tom-Elliott Thanks Tom for this explanation! Since yesterday i have completely reinstall my fog server in 1.2.0.
The wake on lan doesn’t work. My server is in the same VLAN that my client computer. I test wakeonlan directly in command line in the server and it works. My server fog is in a hyper-v environnement. I don’t understand beacause i work in different network with the same architectury and i never saw this problem. Thanks

RE: WOL issue fog 1.2.0
Hi,
I’m in 1.3 version. I haven’t any FOG_WOL Option in the Fog General setings and my wakeonlan doesn’t work.
Is that normal?Thank
