i’ve installed FOG into a docker container. Now i’m thinking about data storage (Docker Volumes or bind mounts). Which fog-directories will store variable data?

Are there any other interesting directories? Maybe it would be a good idea to use a docker volume for the entire fog-folder (/opt/fog)

I try to integrate it onto an existing server. So Kerberos is still runing.
It seems to wirk, if i uncomment the line. After installation i set ther passwd using the Kerberos admin console and the passwort from /var/www/fog/lib/fog/config.class.php

i’m using debian with Kerberos. Setting up the password for user fog fails. The reason is line 1045 in lib/common/functions.sh:
echo -e "$password\n$password" | passwd $username >>$workingdir/error_logs/fog_error_${version}.log 2>&1
If i try to change the password for a user in the terminal i will be prompt for the current password:
...$ sudo passwd fog
Current Kerberos password:
After this i can enter the new password.
Any idea, how to avoid this?

i want to image a laptop. After pxe-boot fog is starting. On “Checking In” i get “Invalid MAC Adress (xxx sec)” (repeating).
What is the problem?

we have dualboot Clients (Win 7 - ubuntu 16.04). I made a multi-partition Image. On the fog-server now i have files d1h1.img … til d1h5.img. I only need the windows partition (+ plus the 100MB Boot partition). Is ist possible to make a single partition Image?

i’m add some printers shared over network as local printers using “Local Port” and the URI of the printer. In this way all DOmainuser can use this printer. Question: Is there a way to archieve this, using the for printer managment?

i’m using fog 1.1.2. I installed a computer with windows 7. The harddisk is about 1 TB, but i created an 25 GB partition, the rest is unallocated.
I using
[CODE]<ExtendOSPartition>
<Size>20000</Size>
<Extend>false</Extend>
</ExtendOSPartition>[/CODE]
in the unattend.xml.
I sysprep the machine using this unattend.xml. After this i create an image with fog.
On the original machine, where i created this image, everything is ok after running the mini setup. There is 45 GB big partition.
On every other machine the whole disk is used, there is no unallocated space and only one partition with 1TB.
Can someone help me?

I’m using 1.1.1 and try to clone 3 Clients using multicast. The process hangs after starting partclone. The “partclone screen” is shown. The last line ist “Start cloning …” This is exact the same as shown on the second picture in this thread: [url]http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/multicast-randomly-hangs.10512/[/url]
There is no multicast.log and udpcast is running. Can someone help finding the reason.
