@Tom-Elliott Hi Tom,
I just did a rollback over VMware to our server backup from last night. It is working fine now. Now I have updated the the most recent revison and no errors show up. I am currently monitoring if the problem reappears.
@Tom-Elliott I could do a rollback to an older version. I did update the certificate because this server had an IP change.

@Tom-Elliott Hi Tom, I do have revision 7248.
The only difference I have, for this revision there is not token.dat created in c:\windows\system32\
@Tom-Elliott Hi Tom, I do have revision 7248.
@Tom-Elliott Besides I did all your provided steps as well, clearing the security token data.
@Tom-Elliott I have the exact same problem, started recently. I have also upgraded the fog server to a newer revision.

@Tom-Elliott Hi Tom, this problem is resolved now.
Thanks.
Wayne, I just did a SVN checkout and I’m getting the message below:
Checked out revision 4830.
I only see a difference for about +300 revisons, where can I get the revison like you desribed (2000+ revisions ahead)
I did: vn co https://svn.code.sf.net/p/freeghost/code/trunk %path
@Wayne-Workman Hi Wayne,
I did turn off the machine and disconnect all cables in many occasions, this will not resolve the problem.
For me the switches are configured the same too, and I’m using the same type/model of switches. The problem is not switch related for sure.
@Wayne-Workman I have the exact same problem in a callcenter. The problem seems to occur from a cold start but resolves itself when booting to Windows first. This is impacting all images here.
Sttange this is; When I connect the workstation directly into the switchport in the patch cabinet/rack cabinet, the issue doesn’t seem to occur. It only happens when I connect the workstation to a floorport which contains a cable distance of about 25-30 meters.
I think electric or magnetic field causes this problem.
Once I boot-up the workstation into Windows, the issue is resolved, but can return at random timeframes.
Hello,
I do have a problem with registering hosts when entering the product keys for a Windows systeem.
The database query is written afer the full registration, however the product key information in the webgui is empty:
When checking the database, I see the following information:
I am not able to update the new product key in the webgui page for any host. Information is not updated.
Besides, newly added hosts with a product key assigned cannot be activated automatically using the new fog client. I have to do the activation manually every time.
I am using fogserver 1.2, revision 4577.
Who is able to assist me?
Thanks in advance.
Ken
Hi all,
It seems I cannot read the entered product key from the admin panel, the value seems empty.
However in phpmyadmin I am able to read the encrypted product key:
There are no MySQL problems showing up.
Who is able to assist me with this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Ken
@Wayne-Workman I have set a DHCP reservation for this laptop in W2K8 server. I am able to define a bootfile for this specific laptop, in this case to boot realtek.kkpxe. This should solve the problem for the laptop not able to boot over pxe.
@cml Hi cml, thnx for the answer. At this moment I’ve changed the DHCP server settings to boot realtek.kkpxe instead of undionly.kkpxe. This solved the problem for this Lenovo laptop but now any other machine cannot boot any longer.
I have to create an image first before I can continue testing your debug files.
Thanks for your help!
For the record, I am using a Windows 2008 R2 server to provide the IP adres and the bootfile. Dnsmasq is not involved at all.
