The OS is windows 7. The fog version is 1.2.0. I’ve changed the config file to check for snapins every 60 seconds. I’ve given the snapin about half an hour to go through but it stays at queued until I log in. Once I log in and look at the log file I don’t see any logs for the snapin client, just the task reboot client.

No. The computers are attached to a domain, but I can easily remote into them before anybody logs into them so they do have network access.

RE: Snapin will not start
Is there any sort of setting that could cause snapins to not work until a user is logged in?

Snapin will not start
I’ve searched through the forums but I don’t believe I’ve seen anybody have this issue, or at least ask about it. Does a user have to be logged into the host machine in order for snapins to install? I have a snapin queued up for install and it won’t go through until I log in. Is there anyway to push snapins when nobody is logged into the machine?

RE: Delayed Snapin execution since 1.2.0
I have a similar issue with this, except for me my snapins seem to never run. I’ve had a basic .bat file which would just restart a machine sitting queued for a good 30 minutes. I’m looking at my fog.log file on the machine I’m trying to run the snapin on and it says this:
12/29/2014 9:49 AM FOG::SnapinClient Attempting to connect to fog server…
12/29/2014 9:49 AM FOG::SnapinClient Module is active…It will repeat this every few minutes. I get no notices of failures from the client or the fog server. For some reason my snapins are just not being sent.

RE: How-to: Remote control a computer using UltraVNC SC and the Snapin software
After some playing around I got the error to go away but now the only thing that comes up on the screen is a hyperlink to tightvnc.com. I have no clue on what to look at next to get this to work.

I think tightvnc might actually work with this, still not sure with my testing results. Once I put in the correct listing port I recieved an error that there was an unsupported protocol, HTTP, so I changed it to HTTPS and now I get the attached error.

RE: How-to: Remote control a computer using UltraVNC SC and the Snapin software
This did add the VNC option in FOG and I’m very thankful for the assistance on that. However we use tightvnc. We are starting to steer away from altiris where we have it set up so we can right click a machine and remote using tightvnc. Upon doing that the tightvnc viewer pops up and we can instantly remote into said machine. Is there a way we could do this in FOG with tightvnc?

RE: How-to: Remote control a computer using UltraVNC SC and the Snapin software
I recently came across this article and was wondering what file this code needs to be added to in version 1.2.0. I’m not sure where to really begin looking considering how many php files there are. I also noticed that there are templates in 1.2.0 for creating your own plugin. I scoured the web and I haven’t noticed anybody creating that many plugins for FOG, or at least nobody has said that they have. I’m wondering if it’s possible to make a plugin through there as well. Thanks for any help you could give me.
