Shutdown/Disable FOG
I am trying to find out how to shutdown/disable a running instance of FOG 0.32?
Want to do this so as to reuse the server for another purpose but not lose the FOG server install I have made.

RE: PXE Boot with a Dell Optiplex 760?
Ok,
I have installed tftp following the instructions above.
When I go to theTask Management tab on my FOG server and click UPLOAD under the host I want to use I get the following error.
“Unable to connect to tftp server”

PXE Boot with a Dell Optiplex 760?
I am trying to do a PXE boot for my TEST-PC using PXE boot so I can setup the other 200 or so machines I manage.
However in the DELL System Setup I set it with PXE boot being enabled.
When I drop down further it has an area to enter image server data so I entered that data as well.
When the computer tries to PXE boot I get a TFTP server not found error?
I am doing something wrong?

TFTP Server not found???
I am running the latest version of FOG on CentOS 6.5 and have a small problem.
When I try to upload a image from a running computer it states that the TFTP server cannot be found?
I thought the TFTP server was the FOG server? Meaning the TFTP server installation was part of the FOG server installation?

RE: How to make FOG work over various VLANs
Ok well that at least gets me running in the right direction…
So I will do manual entry as this is not a big problem as I use Spiceworks to keep a running inventory of my equipment.

RE: How to make FOG work over various VLANs
Yes all system work off of one DHCP server.
Yes I have full access to the switches.
Enterasys SSA L3
Yes I can modify them if needed.
Yes they are managed switches
All pertinent VLANs already have the ip-helper address installed
**Maybe I am missing something here, does FOG not automatically find the computers on my network or do I need to add them in individually into the Host Management page?
I have a test PC setup with FOG service installed and I finally went and manually added it to the Host Management screen.
All of this is for a new system deployment where my community college is separating from the parent university and we are building our own image for deployment to various off-site campuses whereas instead of having to go to each and every off-site computer I am hoping to deploy OUR new image from the IT office remotely. Various off-site locations are spread over a 200 mile area.

How to make FOG work over various VLANs
I am very new to FOG so please be patient…
I have a brand new installation of FOG and what I need it to do is to be able to find computers and deploy images over various VLANs that I have users on. Also, I will be having various images for different users.
I know there is a way to do this but have not been able to figure it out.
