    • Force logout

      I wish to force logout automatically on new host registration.
      The tick box is under Active Directory but can be used without the rest of the AD items.

      Can you force this on in FOG_Settings or do i need to say add to domain after setting the defaults. Issue there is the “Join Domain” will also be ticket and is not desired.

      Thanks in advance.

      I looked into the forum and found this being requested but it didn’t look like it was completed.

    • Groups

      When i add machines to a group, it adds random machines at the same time.
      We have had this issue for some time and thought it was a bug, but this would have been fixed by now if it was. We do complete the DB maintenance tasks as well and from memory this helped but this also don’t seem to resole it anymore.

      Please advise.

      If anyone else needs this:

      I cheated but it worked for my needs
      My personal notes =

      Imagelog cleanup
      Downloaded MySQL Workbench to complete tasks

      See records to be deleted.
      SELECT * FROM fog.imagingLog where ilImageName NOT LIKE ‘%<latest image name>%’;

      Delete Records (Rerun command until effected rows =0) - due to safety feature in Workbench
      DELETE FROM fog.imagingLog where ilImageName NOT LIKE ‘<latest image name>’ LIMIT 1000;

      Even better would be one what deletes all records older than 3 months or the last 200 imaging logs

    • Search - incorrect

      I have been having issues with groups but as i have just updated i thought to test.
      When i search as in image you can see that it doesn’t now filter correctly on a search so testing the group is slightly out of reach at the moment.

      Please advise.

    • RE: Power Management Tasks

      So i have done the upgrade and i created a test group and push some settings.
      That worked well, thanks …but in the group when i press delete all PM tasks it doesn’t take effect.

      Also, When i search for the hosts of this group random machines are also listed. The group also has more than i added listed.

      I have run the database maintenance tasks but it’s the same.
      do you have an SQL query to delete all PMs from all devices?

      and/or any ideas on whats up with the groups and not deleting PMs

      Thanks

    • Node IP/Subnet change

      i have 1 node attached to my FOG server to aid in location imaging.
      (plugin installed)

      Due to changes, the IP address of this node needs to be changed to a different subnet.

      How is this completed?

      Thanks in advance

      Please note that when i came in to screenshot the red ring was set to ‘Select cron job’ I have changed this to weekly and am testing now.

      This was set from the group. I checked by adding another and selecting the schedule in the group view doesn’t get set in the host. would/could this be the issue?

      I have setup a cron job to shutdown a machine as a specific time.
      I was playing with cron jobs for groups for WOL and am happy i have the setting correct. Anyway, Windows doesn’t shutdown.

      Power Management is ticked on the host and the log =

      @Tom-Elliott
      If you don’t have any groups created then you can’t create one from the Host Management screen.

      Selecting hosts and putting a name in the bottom then click “Process Group Changes”
