• Config.php?

I am trying to follow this:

      http://www.topgearit.net/index.php?title=Change_FOG_Image_Storage_Location

because my /images is on the wrong/smaller partition. But I dont have a config.php in /var/www/html/fog/commons

Was it moved, or replaced with a different file?

Yes, if I go to /images it takes me to the mounted /images volume.
You could do that… I’ve never done it, and others would need to help you with that.

Is this FOG machine virtualized? If not, you could add a 2nd hard drive to it, and change where /images is mounted to.

If it is virtualized, how about storing all of your images in a SMB share on a windows server, or another Linux server? It’d be as simple as changing where /images is mounted to.

I’ve got SOME instructions on these two things… this page is incomplete, and is for Fedora 21 server: http://fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Fedora_21_Server Use at your own discretion.
I tried mounting another NFS share as the /images folder. It mounts fine. But now NFS won’t start. Citing exportfs errors. Do I need to edit my /etc/exports file?

    • RE: Phantom host

Thanks! that worked. But our hosts keep disapearing from the GUI. I see them, when I browse through the SQL database. It is really strange.

    • Phantom host

I have a host that does not show up, but when I try to make a host with the same name, or same mac address, it says it exists. it does not. Could it have somehow not deleted all the way? how do i delete it?

    • Host Unregistered

I registered a new host. Then I set an upload task on this host.

The machine booted into fog, but then says the host is unregistered. I go to register the host, and it tells me it is already registered. So I can’t complete the upload task.

I deleted the host on the web gui, and re-registered it, and it did the same thing.

I have fog’d several machines with no problem, not sure of the issue.

It does show the hd, and I ran that. FYI this is a VM so all hardware is good.

I got the same result from this.
