RE: Web UI
@wayne-workman Only thing different is I had it shutdown over the weekend. I can go back to an older snapshot or checkpoint whatever Hyper v calls it now and that works just fine but of course I lose my updated images from the last month or so.

RE: Web UI
@wayne-workman None are 100% and I took just the last error which is

RE: Web UI
@wayne-workman Fog version is 1.4.4, And the log is saying: php7:error. I think you are right except I haven’t changed the password recently. Odd. Let me see if I can change the password fog thinks it is. I believe it won’t let me unless logged in as root. (will have to remember how to login on ubuntu)

Web UI
I am having an issue accessing my web interface after a server restart. On the fog VM it just comes up as a while screen but on the physical server I am getting. This page isn’t working HTTP Error 500. I have restarted this server before for updates and such and had no issues. Hoping for some guide to what to check.

RE: UEFI resizing
@george1421 It did work thanks! But now after I deployed it on the same model computer Fog keeps trying to run maintenance restart and also never changed the name If you want I can make a different post instead of in here.

RE: UEFI resizing
@george1421 Thanks for that, I am running the command now and will try re uploading. Fingers crossed cause uploading a full 500g takes some time ha.

RE: UEFI PXE not downloading ipxe.efi file
@zacadams It will boot to legacy bios but you download your uefi image then just changed to uefi after the imaging is done. Or are you trying to upload an image?

RE: UEFI PXE not downloading ipxe.efi file
@zacadams I have had a few issues with ipxe.efi file boot a couple options I have found one @george1421 already mentioned updating the bios helped but I also legacy booted with an undionly.kpxe and then have it download the uefi image then before it tries to boot into windows change back to uefi. I know it’s alittle annoying but it did work for those that even when I updated the bios was having an issue. (and where I work quick turn around is more important then spending along time on imaging)

UEFI resizing
Has anyone else had any issues doing single disk re-sizable UEFI image. I just started on one (not best practice as it isn’t a clean windows install, boss wanted to see how fog worked, so I will be doing that eventually.) But when I upload to re-sizable it is taking the whole 500gig hard drive(rounding of course). Am I missing a step? I am defragging now after reading around on the forums that might help but I’m thinking it is skipping over it. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

RE: UEFI Initializing devices.
@george1421 It is that model. And I am using 1.4.4 Fog (noticed there is 1.5) I honestly spaced checking the firmware I did see a 2013 date for it though which might be the issue. I work for a small company it is just a clients computer so I may see one again I may not kind of thing. If I get another one I will have to check the firmware I think you probably on to something. Thanks for the help again @george1421

RE: UEFI Initializing devices.
@wayne-workman Alright I found a work around. I pxe boot with undionly.kpxe then pushed out my UEFI image to the machine. After the reboot I turned back on UEFI and disabled legacy and BOOM UEFI windows.

RE: UEFI Initializing devices.
@wayne-workman I did get it to boot to fog with undionly.kpxe and ran the compatibility check it passed for disk and network but I am looking to get it to UEFI.

UEFI Initializing devices.
Hello again! I am ipxeing my UEFI computer to download my image which I was finally able to get upload with the help from the lovely people in these forums. I was able to download it to another computer perfectly. Now I am having trouble with an HP 4300 it will just get stuck on Initializing devices or if i change my boot file to one i found in my fog folders such as intel.efi it will go further then BAM right to no bootable drive (I just replaced the hard drive with a Solid State.) I was also able to get to an ipxe command prompt with intel7156.efi. I tried all the efi i could find in that folder and either it froze at initializing devices or to no bootable after it downloaded the TFTP file. I did check wireshark and it is always getting the tftp file. Any thoughts where I should go from here? Thanks in advance.

RE: UEFI and windows 10
@george1421 yes it is and I found where in the sonicwall it had undionly.kpxe. It is booting to fog as we speak! Thanks so much just needed another set of eyes!

RE: UEFI and windows 10
@george1421 I downloaded wireshark to check it real quick. Saw that to… but my setting on my sonic wall is ipxe…hmmmm sounds like something over there. Thanks for the help maybe I’ll try restarting it.
