    • RE: Failed to deploy image on an unregistered hosts

      Hi Sebastian,

      Thank you for your answer.
Indeed the problem was some definition I set and forgot in the global settings.

Under “Non-Registered Host Image” I set : /images when I removed it, everything works fine.

Great product with a great community.
      Thanks again!

    • Failed to deploy image on an unregistered hosts

      Hi all,

When I’m trying to deploy an image on a unregistered host, I’m getting a “Failed to read back partitions (run Partprobe)” error. (A photo is attached)

If the host is register the deploy is working just fine.
As I mentioned in this post , I need to avoid of hosts registration.

The images captured with “Single Disk - Resizable” option and with Partclone Gzip if it’s matters.
I’m on FOG version 1.5.4 running on a centos 7 machine.

      Any thoughts?
      Thanks.

    • RE: Bypass host registration and password

Thank you for your answer George, and for your blessing work here in the forum.
Somehow it didn’t solved this issue.

After the change, I manged to pass the user login screen to the images select screen, but right after I choose the image to deploy I’m getting a screen with the error “invalid login! … restart in 10sec”…

      Any other suggestions?

Btw, I don’t need the option to mange the hosts after the deployment.

      Thanks

    • Bypass host registration and password

      Hi all,

I’m looking for a fully automatic solution to deploy one image on several machines.

At this moment, the only thing that prevent it from my goal is the need to registrar every host, and enter the FOG credentials to deploy an image.

There is any way to bypass those tow?
I’m on the 1.5.4 version and the server is running on centos 7 machine.

      Thanks
