RE: Image capture not loading on reboot
@Sebastian-Roth said in Image capture not loading on reboot:
MAC pass-through
that seems to have done it. to future readers: i had to go into the ethernet settings on the PC and get the active MAC that was listed and then make THAT mac address the primary. it lagged the update and didnt show the entry at first but after i rebooted the client machine and then approved the device in the FOG dashboard i was able to reboot the machine and get the capture going.

Image capture not loading on reboot
i have an HP laptop im trying to capture an image from. its a base image with no extra applications. i have installed fog client on it thinking that may be an issue but no. the fog server is on our domain but the laptop is not at this time. i can still ping the fog server and the fog server sees the laptop and it registered correctly as far as i can tell. i set up the capture task on the fog server and set it as active.
i know our setup is good becuase this same laptop was able to capture an image earlier when it was on the domain but i had to reimage it back to base due to some other issues. i wiped out that image on the fog server because it had some apps on it we did not want anyway so decided to start over.
pxe hits the server and the fog menu pops up just like it hasnt registered but when i run registration it says its already registered. and then, with the task running and active on the fog server to capture the image, it just keeps booting into the pxe menu and not capturing.
any ideas?
