      @george1421 said in FOG server crashing on group deployment:

      @fog_rob You probably should start your own thread here because your circumstances may be different.

      But in general if you follow my guidance below: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/12116/fog-server-crashing-on-group-deployment/5

      of checking in php-fpm (www.conf file) that these settings are in place. You should have a successful group deployment.

      pm.max_children  = 50
      pm.max_requests = 2000
      php_admin_value[memory_limit] = 256

      Thank you Gearge, I’ll try that.

      FYI: I tried to fog +>10 computers manually and it is crashing too after 10

    • RE: FOG 1.5.0 active directory domain password auto-encryption not working

      @tom-elliott Hi, I found the problem, it is the old fog client on images, and all the computer’s client are not communicating cause I don’t have login history since I moved to this new fog server 😞 even if they upgrated automatically to the .11.15 from this fog?

      I uninstalled the old .11.14 client and intalled the new .11.15 and it worked on my test machine that I was trying to join to domain from a fresh deployement and it worked.

      this in painfull because i’ll have to rebuild all my images with the new client …

      I there a way to correct this other than to find a way to push/force the new client on all computers from fog server (I think automatic client update doesn’t work properly)?

      @tom-elliott Hi Tom, I hope this is what you want, fog.log from a client machine that doesn’t work?
      If not, please explain how to get that error log. Thanks!

    • FOG 1.5.0 active directory domain password auto-encryption not working

      Good day all,

      I’ve a new FOG setup here with ubuntu 16.04 64bit and FOG 1.5.0

      I importated the database from previous fog 1.3 and this feature was working.

      now on 1.5.0 when I type a password, it is not encrypted after I hit update?

      when I select show/hide, it shows the password not encrypted.

      maybe it is how it works, but the computers are not being moved to AD so something is wrong.

      If anybody can help, would be nice to share solution.

      thanks

    • RE: Fog Exit Windows 10

      @sebastian-roth , was old FOG .25 and didn’t have UEFIcomputer then. Now with windows 10, it goes way faster to use FOG then our cloning system (SCCM). I posted my solution here explaining how I solved my problem until a better solution is found.

      thank you guys for your support, we all appreciate !!!

    • RE: Fog Exit Windows 10

      @george1421 Thank you for the reply George, but tried that and no go.

      I found a solution tho, I had to re install Windwos 10 but before, I removed all Secure boot key management Options and set the secure boot operation to Legacy support enable and secure boot disable

      Boot Option to legacy boot Only.

      it worked normally after that.

      so from now on, I will set all uefi comptuters that way before foging 😉

    • RE: Fog Exit Windows 10

      @sebastian-roth , Hi, I juste upgrated to fog 1.4.4 and I’m having the exit of FOG problem too. 😞

      Windows 10 LTSB is installed on our computers and they all boot to network first. It boots out fine on older computer models ex: Dell Optiplex 755 but not on uefi computers ex: HP probook 450G3, on FOG exit, no matter what the host bios exit type is, it won’t boot but if I set the computer to boot from hard disk first it works.

      I looked here and there and didn’t find a solution yet.

      did you guys found something to solve this?
