RE: IP address change for offline environment *after* initial installation
Thank you very much! It worked
I had to use this repository, though: https://github.com/wayneworkman/MakeFogMobile
The one you mentioned had some files missing and the installer returned an error because of that. Thanks again!

IP address change for offline environment *after* initial installation
Server
- FOG Version: 1.3.0-RC-21
- OS: CentOS 7
Description
I need to move a Laptop with FOG installed into an existing offline environment so I need to change the IP address of the FOG server after the initial installation.
I tried to follow the wiki article https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Change_FOG_Server_IP_AddressOf course, I lose connectivity after step 1. (change OS IP address)
Step 3 says to rerun the installer which seems to get stuck without internet connection.I then tried to setup an additional wireless interface to get around the connectivity problem but next thing was the installer stalling at the database backup step. I undid the changes I made in steps 1 and 2 of the wiki article. The installer ran fine then but now I am back to square one
What do I need to do to setup the FOG server in a way so I can use it in a preconfigured offline environment?
Thanks for your help!

RE: Setting IP adresses after mass deployment
It’s a 2008 R2 DHCP server.
Joe’s suggestion is a great idea. I’ll try that!
Thanks again! -

OK, too bad it can’t be done by the FOG client… I am not exactly a script kid…
thanks for pointing me into the right direction. -
Setting IP adresses after mass deployment
Let’s say I want to deploy 50 clients with Windows XP.
Host names should be C01 - C50, IP addresses should be fixed 10.0.0.1 - 10.0.0.50.
How do I set the IPs? Is that even possible with FOG?Yes, I am aware XP it’s not supported by MS anymore. We still need to use it.
Sorry if that’s been asked before… I couldn’t find anything using the forum search.
Thanks.
