• Problem trying to uploading/downloading without monitor

Hi, im trying to multicast to 8 computers, I did thousand of times, but it’s the first time that I try in machines without monitor, in fact the 8 computers only have power and network. The process starts ok, until the please wait screen comes up, then if i don’t have a monitor plugged in the computer appears next to the “please wait” message, the following: [794.750054] [drm:pch_irq_handler] ERROR PCH poison intterrupt [812.025308] [drm:pch_irq_handler] ERROR PCH poison intterrupt]

the computers are optiplex 390 and if y upload o restore a single computer with the monitor plugged all works fine

¿any ideas?

Thanks.

• Dell Latitude D520 stop trying to boot from disk after aplying Boot looping and Chainloading FIX

Hi guys, I work in a dell enviroment, we have severals models, desktops and laptops.

One week ago, I fixed with this help: http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Boot_looping_and_Chainloading one problem with an optiplex 390.

Now, in one classroom we have several D520 and D530, the D530 works fine, but the D520 do the following:

(firts boot nic)
get pxe server
shows the menu options, and everything works fine.
But if i select boot from disk, or wait the 3 seconds, the computer stops trying to boot from disk

I’ve tested in several D520 laptops with bios A00 A06 and A08 whith the same results.

And of course if i press F12 and select hard drive, windows 7 starts without any problem.

Any Ideas?

Thanks.
