• Fog 1.1.0, Built an image with Hyper-V but pxe reports "file or directory not found"

      Hey there,

Brand new install of fog on ubuntu 14.04. Works fine from my desktop computers when network booting, but from my Hyper-V server where i built an image i’d like to take the PXE boot says it can’t find the a file or directory. I made a gif that shows what i see at bootup.

      http://gfycat.com/GentleUnnaturalCougar < What i see.

I planned on using this VM to make images off of. Is fog not compatible with VMs or something?

    • RE: FOG 1.0.1 - client doesn't get the FOG boot menu.

Can i try both? Or does it have to be a undionly.kpxe?

Also, after restarting my server every time to try these new files, when trying to hit the web GUI i get an unable to connect to database error - although i’ve put the password in the commons/config.php folder…it was workign previously
we are still narrowing down the exact cause of these problems on some machines. here is another file to try

This one gets stuck on initializing devices after grabbing a dhcp address.
try this file http://mastacontrola.com/ipxe/f3d42-QUOTA_20-GOOD/undionly.kkpxe
note the extra k, you will need to make sure you dhcp option 67 is set for that (or rename this file to the same as the last one, but make note of this technically incorrect naming convention)
I’m having the same issues as these guys, brand new install of 1.0.1 on Ubuntu 14.04 server edition. Tried the file above - got an “operation not permitted” message and the machine boots to windows.

This is on a HP Z230 right now.
