I’m dumb. Thanks for pointing that out. Worked like a charm.

Windows 10 Image Deployment Issue - Exit to command prompt? - Info
We’ve moved to the newest version of Fog Project.
Windows 10 Image - With Corporate Key.
Both systems say they are compatible.
Image was grabbed correctly.
Windows 10 system was updated and a bunch of changes was added.
The clean shutdown was done.
No Sysprep was applied as we have a product key that shouldn’t need to do that. We have a lot of settings that will be overwritten and do not want to do that.See what happens when trying to deploy.

See image settings. It is an older Lenovo MT-M6072

Linux CentOS image deploy issue...
First off FOG rocks it. But I seem to be having some issues with deploying a CENTos image to computers of the same hardware.
My images settings.
- OS Linux
- Multiple partition Image (Single Disk Not Realizable)
Deploying the image to the computer.
- I get an error stating it can’t find the image location. d1p1.img.001 – I change to the actual IMG file name of d1p1.img NOTE: no “.001”.
- The deploy resumes. And it writes the image to the disk 80 GB in total.
- Restarts as it should after the successful writing.
When the computer restarts. CENTos splash screen loads up. After some time I get the following message.
I have tried the above twice and gotten the same results.
"
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Pid:1, comm: init Not tainted 2.6.32-358.181.e16.x86_64 #1
… bunch of memory address issues.
panic occurred, switching back to the text console.
"I also tried to deploy to other computer that had Ubuntu on it and it can’t even get past the “Booting from local disk” screen.
Any ideas as I’m stumped?
Thanks!

I think it might be a multiple partition issue. Checking that right now. Will keep you posted.

Vista - No operating system found. Any clue why?
Hey gang,
FOG has been a blessing to me but as of late I’m having an issue trying to get a successful vista image to take.
Here are my steps…- Installed Vista Business Got all the current updates.
- Other programs installed via Ninite.
- defrag
- I run sysconfig so to have the user prompted to enter new creds.
- Pull image of this device to my FOG server. SUCCESS!
- Push image to new host. (same hardware). SUCCESS!
- New host restarts and I get error - “Operating System Not Found”
Any clue as to why this would be the case when it seems every step is working properly.
Thanks!

DD-WRT PXE Across the WEB?
GOAL: PXE boot across the web a device from a fog server located in another geo location.
Below are my settings for DD-WRT which work just fine for local setups.
dhcp-boot=pxelinux.0,x.x.x.xMy Networks. <----> = CONNECTIONS
(Device I want to PXE Boot) <--------> (Cable Modem/Router)<--------->(INTERNET)<---------> (DSL Modem/Router) <—> (DDWRT Router)< —>(FOG Server)
What I’ve come up with — VPN the two DD-WRT routers together and bridge one of them (the non-fog server one) Not sure if I’m able to forwarded all traffic through the VPN pipe with these modem routers acting as a first line of defense? Firewalls and the like? Anyone have any clues as to how to do this…
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/VPN_(the_easy_way)_v24%2B#Creating_Certificates
I can’t remove the first set of routers and their DNS services as I have a bunch of other crap running on those.
Anyone have any input for me?
If i get this working I’ll setup a tutorial and post it here in the forum.
Thanks again! FOG SERVER rocks it!

RE: Using DD got can't find gunzip error?
Ok I tried to image Linux box and it still looks like I have a permissions problem.
When it tries to image the first partition I get this error…
mv: can’t rename '/images/<mac>/d1p1.img.000 : No such file or directory.

Using DD got can't find gunzip error?
Ok - getting this error when trying to load up Linux image to a host…
/bin/fog: line 1169: gunzip: not found…
0+0 records in
0+0 records out.
Changing hostname … unmount: can’t umount /nfts: Inv
DoneVideo recorded the start up with my tablet so not sure if it’s 0+0 or 0-0. Thanks!
Any clue on how to fix this one?
Thanks!
