I didn’t change anything on the dhcp server Option 66 is the IP address of the Fog server and 67 is undionly.kpxe. I’m booting clients as legacy boot as i did before the upgrade.

RE: Can't register Optiplex 5040- tsc: Fast TSC calibration failed
@Aaron-Flora I ran into this same issue and my fix was to install this kernel from the Web GUI. I edited the default name bzimage to bzimage1. changed that in the Fog Settings, TFTP Server, FOG_TFTP_PXE_KERNAL to bzimage1 rebooted the FOG server and it registered perfectly
Hope this helps you out.Official Published Kernels

Imaging Switch Options for Lenovo
Does anybody know if there is a switch when imaging from Fog that is similar to Ghosts -ib ? When using ghost a Lenovo will boot to a blinking cursor without the -ib switch. the -ib switch is used when creating an image or copying disk to disk, the -IB switch (Image Boot) forces a copy of the entire boot track; not just the boot sector.
Use this switch when applications, such as some boot-time utilities, use the boot track to store information.
[]You cannot perform partition-to-partition or partition-to-image operations with the -IB switch.
[]Partition sizes cannot be altered when using the -IB switch.
Thanks in advanceBuercky

There has been a signature failure after imaging Lenovo M82
Hi all,
The problem Im having is after imaging a Windows 7 x64 Lenovo M82 Desktop with the 100mb partition and a partition, upon reboot the system goes into a loop and says There is a signature failure. Im finding that it might be the MBR of Lenovo causing the problem. Has anybody else had a similar issue and if so how did you correct it. Is there a switch like in ghost -IB to force it to copy the entire Boot track not just the boot sector? Thanks in advance

Yeah!! back up but image storage issue?
Fog .32 install on 40 GB VMware partition. It originally locked up due to full hard drive after image upload, could not get back into the GUI after, locked up mysql. I deleted the image and was able to get back in after a reboot.
I added another 800GB virtual disk to the server. my question is, in the GUI is there a way to direct saving the new uploaded image file to the new 800 GB drive? if so how do i direct it to there?
the drives are as follows: Size:
/dev/sda3 mounted on / ext3 40 GB
/dev/sda1 mounted on /boot ext2 89M
/dev/sdb1 mounted on /images ext2 794 GBRight now under image management in the GUI the default path starts /images/“editable box” /Images/ is not editable.
does this mean it will store on the right drive? Thanks for any help

How to delete Files
I have fogserver .32 running on VMware it was only 40 GB and after 2 images it locked up no access to GUI. I have been able to add another drive for storing images to but i cannot delete the image(s) from the original 40 GB drive ive tried rm /images, and a bunch of other things. it tells me “no such file or directory” but if i do a du -h /images, i get a listing of 2 images, 1- 19 GB and the other 20 GB.
Im a newbie climbing the learning curve fast so if you know of something else i could try im all ears.
Thanks
