I work for a School District and I have recently started using FOG as our Windows Imaging solution.
We have multiple school sites that we use, but I would like to have one “Master” database and storage for images.
I know there is a “Master” checkbox when editing a Storage Node, but I don’t believe that will do what I want.
I want to be able to make a change to the “Master” FOG server and have the change reflected across all other instances of FOG that we would deploy. We have a similar solution for Macs from JAMF, and they have the setup I would like to see about getting with FOG.
The meat of my question is this: Is there a way to guarantee that when imaging a computer it would only use the sites Storage Node and not try to pull from all the Storage Nodes from other sites.
