RE: Joining Domain Problems with windows 7
I’m also having trouble getting a machine to join the domain. I’m very new to FOG so I could be missing something obvious. Maybe someone can help?
Questions:
- Under ‘Other Information -> FOG Settings’, is that supposed to be a Global way to join all machines to the domain? If so where do I enter the credentials to use? The information in the flyovers to the side of the fields seems to be asking for the default user to create on the newly imaged machine rather than Domain Admin credentials.
2. Under ‘Host Management > Active Directory’ I read the OU should be entered in LDAP format. So that would be something like this:? OU=Computers,OU=SupportSpace Customer Support,OU=Director Service Operations,OU=CSO,OU=SupportSpace,DC=SupportSpace,DC=local
- I don’t understand the comment above about modifying the config.ini file in the fogcrypt folder with your passkey in order to encrypt it. I didn’t see this in the wiki.
Any and all help would be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.
