• RE: Image Size on Server 0GB

Hello,

I am having this same issue with the Image Size on server reporting 0. I have Fog 1.2 and CentOS 6.6. Do you know anything that I can check to see why I am reporting a size of 0 for image size on the server? I noticed that my Storage Node User/password is different than the Storage Management user/password. Should they be the same. Also my TFTP user/password is different as well.

Thanks for any information or troubleshooting steps you can give.

• Deploy Image to multiple machines through multicast

Hello, I want to test pushing an image out to multiple computers. In the FOG user guide I clicked on the Link that says “Deploying your Image a group of clients” but this is a dead link. Is there any information out there on deploying the image to multiple computers at the same time?

Thanks

• Location of config.php in Fog 1.2 on CentOS 6.6

Hello,

I am trying to make some changes and move the /images directory from the root volume to the home volume. I need to make changes to /var/www/html/fog/commons/config.php however this file is not in this location. There is a system.php that has some settings that are related to what I need to change. Did the system.php replace config.php or is the config.php in another location?

Thanks,
Andrew

• Latest version of FOG on CentOS 6.6

Hello,

On your user guide you have directions for CentOS 6.4. I wanted to know will the latest version of FOG work on CentOS 6.6 and if so do I follow the same directions as 6.4?

Thanks,
Andrew

• RE: FOG install on Ubuntu question regarding WebGUI

That did it. I did set a different mySQL password other than the default and I forgot to go back and change it in there.

Thanks so much.

• FOG install on Ubuntu question regarding WebGUI

Hi,

I have installed Ubuntu 14.04 on my server and installed Fog as well. I went through all of the steps and I am on the step where it says to “Complete the configuration” where you have to set up the web GUI for Fog. Does this need to be done by going to the http://<serverIP>/fog/management on the Fog server or can I go there on my Windows laptop? I tried to go there on my Windows Laptop and get “Unable to Connect to Database.” I did not install a GUI on my Ubuntu Linux server as I like to not have a GUI for security reasons and just use the command line. So I am not able to open up a browser on the server as I have not GUI. Do I need to do this step from the server or should I be able to do it from another workstation?

Thanks
Andrew
