    • Couldn't allocate port 7 usb_device

      From start to finish.

I register the device with fog, no problems
I update the device with the image that I wanted on the device, I set the download up and it starts

Now here is where it gets kinda weird. The second loading bar on the page says “…Couldn’t allocate port 7 usb_device”
other than that everything works fine. The computer then shuts down after it finishes, like I told it to do.

I start it back up and everything appears to be fine, until it blue screens during the update to the registry, and updating the drivers and all everything. I never make it to the desktop or login, it does all of this during the “Welcome to Windows” screen. I would like to think its just my image that’s screwed up, but I can’t figure out as to why or how.

    • Is there a special procedure for SSDs?

Basically, every time I have tried to image an SSD, it seems to take the 40MB Diag Partition and the Recovery Partition which is ~12GB. Is there a prefered image type I should use or something else I can do? I am about to get about 80 of these laptops in and they are all going to need to be imaged.

      Dell Latitude E5450, 256GB SSD.

    • RE: Imaging Windows 10

I am using 1.2, I do not have Trunk, though.

Thanks for the information about the new release, definitely appreciated! If anyone else has any insight to offer, I am happy to hear it.

    • Imaging Windows 10

Is it possible to clone a windows 10 operating system at this time? If not, is there any news about when it may be possible. Has anyone tried it yet?

I have attempted to but it seems to want to just copy the recovery image which tends to be about 12gigs large. I tried all 4 types of images and I was able to start a RAW image, but I noticed that it was 256GB large, and take a whole lot of time to image. I am also concerned that this will make the new drive unusable since all 256GB will be “taken up”.
