@jconway1006 We have reports with Lenovo T14 Gen2 being slow as well: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/15433/lenovo-t14-gen-2 - see @saad-naeem’s post in this topic for a possible solution.

Yeah I ended up reading that post after I posted mine. Same exact issues. Tried some of the suggestions in there (upgrade BIOS) and all that stuff with no success. I’m making due right now with a little work around. Its just a pain when ya have more than a few laptops to setup.

    • Lenovo T15 Gen2 Slow Imaging

Quick Question… We have several brand new t15 gen2 laptops that when I pull the image down to they won’t image. It takes a very long time and the whole process never completes. Our Kernel is updated to current. Any suggestions.

Side note… I can send the image up to the server and that works in a decent time…

      From the Host Server
Ping via IP and DNS name

From a third computer (My Workstation)
Ping via IP and DNS name

From the FOG VM I pinged my DHCP (172.16.10.8) and it answers. Also via DNS Name (“OPS2”)

@jconway1006 Ok so apache is up and running…

So I would have to wonder why external http access isn’t working.

Has the IP address of the fog server changed? ip addr show (fog doesn’t love having the IP address of the fog server changed after FOG is installed)

Is the linux firewall turned on for some reason? (the check depends on the host OS for the fog server)

The firewall is off. I checked that before. Also the IP Address of the server hasn’t changed either. Nothing at all on that server has changed.

This is a VM server. The host server got infected but its since been cleaned and checked. However could that have something to do with this?

No we didn’t have to rebuild the fog server. And yeah no web UI. What in the world causes that?

Note: on the fog server itself I can get the UI. Just not on any other desktop via any browser…

    • TFTP Not Working

      Hey All,
Looking for some help. Over the July4th weekend we got hit with a pretty major virus. Long story short we are still rebuilding some of our servers. However TFTP won’t answer. The PC’s get DHCP from our server (not fog) but die on TFTP part of it. Any suggestions?

I also can’t get to the fog website management page on my PC. It only works if I log into the server (Ubuntu 14.10)

I’m leaning towards my DHCP server as being the issue but I really can’t figure out what it could be. If more info is needed please ask. I’m in a real jam here…

      Thanks,
      Jesse

    • Win10 Imaging Question

      Morning All,

Setting up a fresh clone with Win10 on it. After I sysprep and shutdown and all, I tell the PC to upload the image. Well it fails every time and says something about a partition. I remember having to use some type of “Fog Tool” or something to change something with the partitions and for the life of me I can’t remember what it was. Hoping someone on here will lead me in the right direction…

Many thanks in advance as well.

    • RE: Lenovo 810z AIO & T560 Laptop Issues

I’ll get that info for you tomorrow morning when I am back in my office. I’ve actually yet to open the laptop up. All other stuff isn’t going to be a problem.

      Thanks…

    • Lenovo 810z AIO & T560 Laptop Issues

      Hey All,

Fresh install of fog on Ubuntu as of about a month ago. I’m currently at a remote site so I can’t get the correct version info at this moment.

However fog doesn’t recognize the Nic’s in these new devices. Can someone assist me with this. I’m new to fog so I don’t know what Kernel is needed for this.

The AIO NIC is “realtek pcie gbe family controller”
The Latop NIC is “Intel Ethernet Connection I219-V”

Any help is greatly appreciated and I can get whatever info that’s needed as well. Just offsite today but had some time to post up this message.

      Thanks,
      Jesse
