    • Stop rebooting after image deployment

Hi, I am trying to find option to stop rebooting after image is deployed. Is there some option to set reboot/wait/wait time limit?

      Thanks.

      Hi, simple question:

Where can be found right file to translate PXE texts like “This host is not registered” or “Return to menu” etc.?

PO file does not contain it.

      Thanks.

    • RE: TIP for short-depth rack server for FOG?

      Hi,

I am looking to have storage node running together with FOG service for cca up to 50-100 clients. The target is to have big capacity (>10TB per HDD), 2-4bays and 1U, max 2U rack format with depth up to 31 cm.

Very similar to my requirements is RackStation RS1219+ (2U, depth 30 cm). It is not platform independent and also not cheap so therefore i am looking for different product where can i setup own Debian.

    • TIP for short-depth rack server for FOG?

      Hi,

I am looking for short-depth rackmount (ideally 4-bay) server for FOG instalation.

Best I found is Synology Rackstation but it comes with own OS (DSM), is not cheap etc.

Do you have some tips for similar hardware, platform independent?

      Thanks.

    • Intel RST RAID volumes - missing drives

      Hi,

I am trying to capture/deploy from Intel RST (15.5.0.2875) RAID volumes. Problem is that no drives are detecting by the FOS.

Checked booting with following options not success.

      Host Kernel Arguments: mdraid=true

When boot in debug mode and cat /proc/mdstat - nothing, also lsblk and blkid shows nothing.

Tested also with non RAID drive and it works correctly.

      Any idea?

    • Could not mount images folder - wrong IP setting
      Server
      • FOG Version: latest, GIT
      • OS: Debian 8
        Running DNSMASQ, no DHCP
      Description

All is working well, but only booting tells me: Could not mount images folder - wrong IP setting

Where can i change the IP address?

I checked fog config, interfaces, dnsmasq, web config, rerun of ./install.sh and still getting wrong IP. This IP 192.168.15.100 was correct in previus configuration, now will have to be 10.0.0.150.

      Thank you.

      @Tom-Elliott

Sure, so i am asking you what can be wrong. I know that is not any magic.

I can connect to DB with the same user/password like used in config files. Its a fresh install of Debian and FOG. Something is wrong.

When i reinstalled with ./installfog.sh -y, schema was upgraded correctly and it works.

After install SVN 5833: Database Schema Installer / Updater - Button is missing

      /var/www/html/fog/lib/fog/config.class.php and /opt/fog/.fogsettings are correct.

      Mysql db connection works.
