Power manager issue
-
Server
- FOG Version: 1.3.3
- OS: Ubuntu 14.04
Client
- Service Version: 0.11.8
- OS: Win10x64
Description
I’ve set up a power manager rule in my server to reboot machines every night at 6:01pm CST. However, after checking, this event never happens. Things I’ve checked:
-Power manager service is enabled on the server, and the client install.
-Cron appears setup correct, with it being 01 18 * * * with the action of Reboot
-the Power Management job appears correctly under the affected hosts.
-machines are not sleeping nor already off, as there are GPO’s in place to stop that from taking place, hence wanting this to take over for the big reboot.Any suggestions? It’s no deal breaker by any means, but would be a huge help for us.

Server is setup as CST, according to running date and checking the tzdata.
I grabbed the client log , and thats where it was. For some reason, it was having CA issues. I reset the encryption for the host, ran a command, and it worked.
I should really have looked there before posting…

Is your fog server setup for CST timezone?
Your cron looks correct.
Can you upload one of those client’s fog.log files here so we can look?
