"Job not found for MAC address" when booting to network card

[INDENT=1]We deleted all hosts from our server (running .30 and Ubuntu 10.10)), restarted the server, and now when the dhcp is on and you boot the host to the network card, it says “Job not found for MAC address” instead of the prompt to perform registration. Help!! I work for a school and we are at a screeching halt until we get this fixed.[/INDENT]
updatewe have 2 fog servers. I started this job on the other server (.32 on ubuntu 11.04) and the image computer took the actual host name we registered it to. the other 5 computers we are trying to deploy to are catching the MAC address as the name. so it would look as though we have two problems in one

I saw that every once in awhile during FOG testing. I assumed it was from canceling a job (or any other FOG torture) as the client was rebooting e.g. the [B]/tftboot/pxelinux.cfg/<CLIENT MAC ADDRESS>[/B] file was deleted before the client had a chance to read the instructions.

do you have any idea how to fix it? and will this effect the name issue or the job not found?

We just cancelled all the jobs and rebooted the clients. You could delete the [B]/tftboot/pxelinux.cfg/<MAC ADDRESS>[/B] file on the FOG server as well.

I was playing with firewall rules and I could get this problem to happen if I blocked the “transfer ports” on the server:

When i went in to delete the files in the [B]/tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/[/B] they won’t go to the trash, and if you click ‘delete now’, nothing happens. All hosts were deleted, so are they stuck in a limbo? (Not an intentional reference to Inception…)
