Virtualbox Win7 Client - can't get past "Attempting to register host..." - VHD problem?

I’m using Virtualbox to create a new image for our school using snapshots to make the process a bit easier, but I’m struggling to register the VB host on to fog.

It boots the kernel, but will not get past the “Attempting to register host…” screen (well, I can, it simply scrolls up to a blank screen)

The Fog compatibility test shows that the HD is not compatible, which is probably causing the problem. The drive is on a SATA controller, 120GB .vdi disk.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
