"Failed to add/update snapin file" on RC-5

  • I’m attempting to create snapins anew on RC-5 but receive the error “Failed to add/update snapin file” whenever I try to add.

This happens both when uploading a new snapin file (.exe) and selecting an existing. Also, when attempting to select an existing snapin the error “No file was uploaded.” I have verified FTP credential as documented in the wiki - Troubleshoot FTP Credentials. Permissions on the snapins directory look good to me, listed below. Any suggestions? What log should I look at for more info? Thanks,

    Joe

  • Solved it! I removed /var/www/fog and /var/www/html/fog and re-ran the FOG installer. I am now able to create and edit snapins.
