Problems imaging and deploying Windows Vista on FOG 1.2.0

  • Hello,

I’ve recently installed FOG 1.2.0. I managed to image and deploy a few Windows 7 and Windows XP machines, both 32 and 64 bit.

I’ve made a Windows Vista VM on VMWare ESXi 5.5 (the same VMWare where I’ve made the Windows 7 images), I ran SYSPREP and uploaded the image to FOG 1.2.0. So far so good, as usual.

When I try to deploy the image to another computer I get the error “gunzip: invalid magic” - “This is not partclone image.” I’ve tried deploying the image to an HP 6730b and to a VM on the same VMWare host. In both cases I get the same error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    GAR

Yes this is known about. If you’re daring, can you try using the SVN Trunk at revision 3225?
