Hey,

I’m trying to add a network printer (HP LaserJet P2015dn) for a win7 (x32) client on my FOG 1.2 server.
But, i can’t see the inf field … (like this http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Managing_FOG#Adding_New_Printers).

After some research, the 0.32 fog version has this field but not the 1.x version of FOG.

I add the printer with these informations :
Printer Alias : HP LaserJet P2015 PCL6

Printer Port IP_xx.yy.zz.xx

Printer Model : HP LaserJet P2015 PCL6

Printer IP : 1x.xx.xx.xx
In the fog log client, i can see :
10/02/2015 14:44 FOG::PrinterManager Management level = 1
I can’t see any printer on the client (same resultat with a reboot of client)

I tried another way :

• install the printer as a local printer on the windows 7 client

• delete the printer (but keep drivers)

• reboot

• same problem ; same fog log, no printer on the windows 7 client.

What’s wrong ?

My stuff :
Server :
FOG Version : Running Version 1.5.9
OS : Debian GNU/Linux 10
FOG Client Version : 0.12
Specifications :

I found the solution … but it’s strange.
Good parameters into the printer edit section :
Printer Alias : HP LaserJet P2015 PCL6
Printer Port IP_xx.yy.zz.xx
Printer Model : HP LaserJet P2015 PCL6
Printer Type : C:\Windows\inf\ntprint.inf
Printer IP : 1x.xx.xx.xx
I don’t understand why i need to put the inf path into the Printer Type field but, with this parameter, it’s seem to work …

Because it has no idea where to look for the file?
