For some reason I cannot register a virtualbox VM on my fog server. It gets to /bzImage… and then i get a variable of 0%-14% and then it gets stuck.

I initially tried this on my 12.04 ubuntu running fog 1.0.1 upgraded from .32
So I tried doing a clean install of ubuntu 14.04 and 1.0.1 fog on another machine and got the same result. Is this a kernel related issue? And if so does anyone know which kernel I should be using?

I can register hosts from actual computers just not from virtualbox. The VM’s will pxe, get into the fog menu, But whatever option I choose from there I get the same freeze after /bzImage

Seriously? You are the man. It never occurred to me that it would be network related since I was able to pxe into the fog menu. Switching the network adapter did the trick. Thanks!

That “for some reason” is because I’ll bet your network adapter is set to PCnet rather than an intel nic.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)
