HD is null; no hard disk was found

I’m imaging a lab of 120 Vostro 320 PCs, using a FOG multicast. All of them worked except three, which produce this error message just as FOG is about to start imaging:
HD is null; no hard disk was found.
These three PCs can boot to Windows XP fine (this was the previous install), and the BIOS settings are identical to the other 117 PCs.
If I enter “0” in the Primary Disk field on the FOG host entry (i’m not really sure how this field works - just
clutching at straws here!), things go a bit further, but the image job ends at the following error:The second argument [01] must be a valid device (ex:/dev/hda1)

We’re having a similar issue.
We have several hundred old HP Compaq DX2200’s. We’ve upgraded the RAM to the max they will handle (2GB). They’re running Windows 7 Pro. We’re hoping to prolong the usability of these machines in lab environments by putting 64GB SSD drives in them. Problem is, we cannot FOG these machines with the SSD drives in them.Before the FOGing process starts, it says “Looking for hard drive…none”. Then we get the “hd is null. no hard disk found” error.
We can FOG the drive in another model PC and then slap it in the DX2200 and all is well. We’ve flashed the BIOS to the latest version.
Is there a fix?

What version of FOG?

We’re using FOG 0.32.
