Can't access the FOG web management inteface

  • I installed FOG on Whezzy, but I cant seem to access the web interface on FOG just shows a white screen nothing else evrything looks good. (myssql all correct and settings + services).

  • Developer

    Quick question, what OS are you running?

    I found that the latest Ubuntu 13.10, I had to manually restart the services after installation of FOG, I restarted the mysql and apache2 services and I was able to communicate with my web gui. (no errors were ever reported.) but I was unable to access the web page.

    May be something to think about.

  • Not at all.

  • ok shall i delete this post as it just a waste

  • I don’t know then. Maybe try reinstalling FOG?

  • blank aka no source code

  • Add the Error Logs?

  • 404 error

  • Yes, just like that.

  • like this:

    define( “MYSQL_DATABASE”, “fog” );
    define( “MYSQL_USERNAME”, “root” );
    define( “MYSQL_PASSWORD”, "password” );
    define( “DB_TYPE”, “mysql” );
    define( “DB_HOST”, MYSQL_HOST );
    define( “DB_NAME”, MYSQL_DATABASE );
    define( “DB_USERNAME”, MYSQL_USERNAME );
    define( “DB_PASSWORD”, MYSQL_PASSWORD );

  • Check the line:
define( “MYSQL_PASSWORD”, “” );
has a semicolon at the end of it.

    You need the ( ); as well as the “MYSQL_PASSWORD”, “PASSWORD”.

  • 0.32

  • What version of FOG are you running?

  • This post is deleted!

  • define( “DB_TYPE”, “mysql” );

  • What does the file say for line 54?

  • Can you refresh the screen, I know it’ll be blank, then run:
tail -20 /var/log/apache2/error.log
Copy and paste the output of that here.
