FOG Newbie - Snapin Problem
-
Just starting to use FOG again after a number of years. I am trying to get a snapin to deploy VMWare Workstation 10 to a number of Win7 x64 machines. Not really anything complex just install, with license key. Sad but just dumping and importing the reg section with the key doesn’t seem to work.
The silent install snippet is
VMware-workstation-full-10.0.0-1295980.exe /s /v EULAS_AGREED=1 SERIALNUMBER=“xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx”
I created a snapin and uploaded the installer which seems to work. The problem comes with setting the Snapin Arguments: to /s /v EULAS_AGREED=1 SERIALNUMBER=“xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx”
I can paste it in and update the snap in but it appears to cut of after SERIAL NUMBER=
Not sure if I am hitting the char limit or I am trying to put it in the WRONG place. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Its been a while since I was responsiable for having to image computers and alot has changed since XP!
Thanks
