FOG .32 not connecting to default node

  • I am running FOG .32. on static IP., user fog, password 1234567. confirmed Storage node user and PW. Confirmed FOG settings user as fog and password as 1234567.

Mounted drive is mounted as “/media/ImageDisk”
    “/etc/exports” data is:
    /media/ImageDisk/ *(ro,sync,no_wdelay,insecure_locks,no_root_squash,insecure)
    /media/ImageDisk/dev/ *(rw,sync,no_wdelay,no_root_squash,insecure)

I had it working once but suddenly lost it. Dont remember what other information I am missing in this post.

  • Maybe try adding a link on the fog server.

I’m assuming the /images directory is no longer available on that server, so you could try it like this:
ln -s /media/ImageDisk /images
Then check to see if all is working.

  • I meant that in the homepage dashboard it does not show any disk information. After a restart it simply <whisper> ‘disappeeeeared.’

  • When you say, not connecting, what do you mean?

    It won’t let you image?

If that’s the case, make sure the /media/ImageDisk directory and all subs have chmod 777 recursively:
chmod -R 777 /media/ImageDisk
Next, make sure the .mntcheck files are in place with the following command:
touch /media/ImageDisk/.mntcheck
    touch /media/ImageDisk/dev/.mntcheck
