Hi All,

Please excuse my ignorance/lack of expertise here…

I am trying to image a Dell Lattitude 6430u laptop, on the PXE boot page I get the following errors:

tps65010: no chip?
acpi walk namespace failed
ali m7101 pmu not found

any ideas?

Thanks

Does it eventually work? Or does it halt? During the start-up process it’s normal to see some of these errors. Do you get to enter “full registration”?

Hi,
Hi All,
tps65010: no chip?
acpi walk namespace failed
ali m7101 pmu not found

tps = Power Management Chip
acpi walk = related to missing tps drivers
ali = Watchdog für power management.

No of this errors is related to your problem, have you tried a newer kernel based on kernel 3.9?
Try this kernel: http://www.multiupload.nl/PSRQ39J52A

Hi all,

I upgraded the kernel version on Friday and it would not work, however this morning it started working?! Very strange…

Anyway got my first imaged deployed, updated and uploaded back to fog now so all good.

Cant believe how better Fog is than Altiris Deployment!

Cheers
