      SOLVED:
The problem was the a-record servername inputting in 66 DHCP option didn’t work.
Setting up the ip address as string value solved the trick.

      Hi all,

I just installed a clean FOG server (Ubuntu 10.04LTS) in my existing network, following the installation instructions wiki. I gave in the DHCP address and all of the existing windows DHCP server.

Then I adapted the windows DHCP options 66 and 67 to point to the fog server.

Now the clients I try don’t reach the fog boot selection screen. They go into PXE boot, giving their mac address.
After a short while, a message “TFTP” appears, and every two minutes, an extra dot appears after it. After about 15 minutes, the pc starts booting from primary harddisk.

Can anybody help me what might be wrong in my configuration?

      Thanks
