Deploying a snapin is stucked in queud state
-
Hi,
I’m having a problem today deploying a snapin on all of my machines. all tasks remain paused.
I tested it again on one machine only, same problem.
I don’t see anything special in the agent log on customers. nor anything special in the server (1.5.10) logs.
Where could the problem be?
Thanks

@tahitiju how do you mean “remain paused”?
Not quite sure I follow.
It seems, to me, that the FOG Client isn’t installed or isn’t running on the machine you’re trying to deploy the snapin to?
-
@Tom-Elliott sorry, I wanted to say in a queued state.
Fog agent is installed on clients, and client is able to ping server.
-
@tahitiju Okay, queued makes more sense.
Is the FOG Client actually running on the machine you’re trying to deploy the snapin to?
-
@Tom-Elliott yes, client is running.
I was missing on the fog.log that i get an message ‘HostnameChanger Users still logged in and enforce is disabled, delaying any further actions’
That might explain why the task stays queued.
I searched on FOG configuration, but where could i find this enforce setting ? -
@tahitiju You can set it under the host directly, though if that feature is globally disabled you’d to to configure that too.
It’s been a long while since I used this but
Globally it would be under -> FOG Settings -> Search for ENFORCE i think?
Under FOG Client it would be under “Hostname Changer” element I believe.
Under the Host edit page it would be Under Module settings I believe.

@Tom-Elliott Great thanks for you help

@tahitiju Does that mean this worked?
