Hi I’m new to FOG and I’m having slight problems installing. I’ve got the server up and running on Ubuntu 22.04 and I think I’ve installed the client software on the one client I’ve tried to connect to (also Ubuntu 22.04).
The server has seen the client so when I list hosts on the server my client with name and MAC address appears in the list. However it’s not registered.
From reading it seems that this is done from the client at boot time. When I boot the client, I get a PXE prompt but it’s not the FOG menu.
I’ve run mono install.exe and that seemed to work ok if I run systemctl status the FOG.service is shown as running, but as far as I can make out without the boot menu from FOG I can’t install the server.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. All the things I’ve read seem to assume that the FOG banner appears at boot up.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
