Slack Integration issues

Hi Foggers!
I have a fully operational fog project that kicks off a weekly cron imaging task for my students. I have tried multiple different ways to implement the slack integration, but always come up with the same error of
“Link Slack Account Fail - Invalid user and/or channel passed”
I have searched and tried to use either @username or #channel name, to no avail. I’ve also tried using a legacy slack token and the new 2.0 tokens. I notice that slack is moving away from usernames and channel names to channel/user ID’s… may this be part of the problem? I have seem to exhausted most of the resources on the subject to no avail. Thanks for the help!

What version of FOG are you referring too?
It’s possible the API has changed and this plugin is needing to be heavily revamped, but I don’t know for sure how to test especially without knowing what version of FOG you’re referring to.

I just tested using my api token for slack running the working-1.6 version of fog and am not seeing an issue.
