I was on 1.3.0-RC-8 and was having this issue. I upgraded to 1.4.0 svn rev 6069 and it still isn’t working.

What do you mean “it isn’t working”? Can you get a picture and/or video of the steps and “what’s not working”?

@Tom-Elliott Sorry, I go to Group management. click basic tasks next to the group. Then click on advanced select Memtest86+. Click create task. it says
“Memtest86+: Successfully created tasks for
All hosts successfully tasked”Then when I go to active tasks nothing shows up.

@Tom-Elliott but I did test disk and it did work

@Tom-Elliott Is there any more info I can get on why just memtest would fail? I browsed ever the logs but I didn’t see anything.

So found the issue. Individual taskings would work, but group taskings wouldn’t. This is due to some checks added to ensure only valid taskings can be generated. The tests were looking for “Imaging tasks”, then “Snapin Tasks”, then “init needed taskings”. The memtest tasking is not considered an init needed tasking.
I’ve made the checks simpler with:
“Imaging tasks” -> “Snapin Tasks” -> All other and tasks appear to be working properly from the group page. Thanks for informing.
