    I have a really weird issue. Today after imaging perfectly fine all day my images are suddenly failing to start because the check in is suddenly failing. The error I get is:

    Attempting to check in…failed
    /bin/fog.checkin: line 66: sec2string: command not found

    This just suddenly happened. I changed no files on the fog server for months so I don’t know why this happened. I did a search on my fog server for the file and found no trace of it. Any help would be appreciated.

      What version of fog are you running? This was fixed a WHILE ago.

      Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

        Fog says I’m currently on 5931. I rarely update FOG because every time I try to update it I need to have you hop on to my server for a couple hours to fix everything that broke with it. So I’m a little fearful to update it. I’m wondering why this suddenly happened when I made no changes to any files.

          @jamesb The sec2string was broken for a very long time, but the only time it is called is when the system is waiting in “queue”

          Please update. I don’t mind helping fix broken things and you’ll likely notice all the changes and improvements. I know I always say that, but trust me, this is pretty solid lately. (A few minor caveats here and there).

            @Tom-Elliott
            I updated successfully, thank goodness, but I’m still failing to check in.

                  @Tom-Elliott

                  I already rebooted the client. It just says:

                  Attempting to check in …failed
                  In line for 3:40

                  The in line for keeps increasing by 5.
