Hi,

I have tried all I know to try, but still can not get these machines to boot. Running Fog 1.2 on ubuntu server. I keep getting error:

could not boot: input/output error http://ipxe.org
Exiting Broadcom PXE Rom

I disabled spanning tree on my edge switch, I changed the dhcp boot file to unioinly.kkpxe from kpxe. I don’t know where to go from here.

Thanks!

Josh,

Is this working for you now or not? Are you really having the boot file set as: unioinly.kkpxe or undionly.kkpxe?

Only guess is I imagine you’re seeing the “console error” followed by the IO error? If you need an interim fix, edit the BootMenu.class.php file and comment out the line dealing with the --picture as this is likely the cause of your T100 not booting. It can’t adjust the console screen to use the picture. This happens from time to time on systems and I haven’t an idea why quite yet.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Yes, I did comment out the --picture line and that got me working for this issue. Thanks for the explanation. That makes sense.
