Fresh Install 1.1.2 changing fog user password bars me out

Hi,

first of all good to be back here after a year
I’ve installed 1.1.2 under Ubuntu 13.10 an i have a strange problem here.

If i change fog users password i cannot login with it anymore, also if i reset
the users password directly with the sql db no more login!

Same thing if i create a new user before, it can be used for quick imaging
(client login, boot menu) but not to access the management interface.

Any idea what happenend?

The fog password should be M.D. five encrypted do you change the password to the GUI and you can’t login order your changing the fog user password on the Linux system

Hi Tom,

i just use the webif to change users password, same problem if i just set quick imahe right:

Doing only that or changing the password bars me out of login.

Like i told you also an additional user i created for care if bar out happens will not work after that:

After i was bar out totally i tried to reset the passwords like that:

But nothing no more login till i reinstall, drop mysql db before and so on…

No, there is a “funny” bug once in a while I’m aware of, but don’t remember exactly when I fixed it. It should be fine in SVN though.
