Imaging hangs just before upload
-
Hey all,
I just updated to 1.1.2 to try out imaging on W8 and I’m running into an issue where the upload hangs right at the Processing Hard Disk line.
It’s an Asus Vivobook laptop with a hybrid drive, which I’m thinking might be the cause of the issue. The image is set to Multiple Partition - All Disks since the hybrid drive shows up as two mounted drives in the OS. I’ve updated the kernel to 3.14.2 thinking it might be a driver issue, but that didn’t fix it. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.*Send method…NFS

How long does it hang?
-
Indefinitely, until I hit enter and then FOG exits and the machine reboots.

I am having the same problem (ubuntu 12.4 Fog:1.2.2)
when I press enter, the message appears:
Unable to create Image.
in my folder Images/dev, it creates a folder named by the mac-adress.
but with nothing inside.
the log shows:
no such file or directory. -
Exactly the same problem here Ubuntu 14.04 Fog 1.1.2 Asus A88XM+ motherboardwith on board Realtek Card. 2 sata drives, one with 100mb windows 2008 Partition, one blank.
Hangs at processing disk. Hit enter and it reboots. -
I fixed it!
My disks had some GPT partitions left over on it, although the machines were new,the supplier had installed windows 8 on them before I got them, without telling me!
Here’s the URL on how to fix it, http://fogproject.org/forum/threads/stuck-on-dev-sda.11105/
Good luck.
